After a short break between events, the Heads and All Threads Suzuki team are set for round three of the British Championship at Canada Heights in Kent on Sunday, the 3rd of May.
Graeme Irwin has slipped down to 10th in the MX1 standings after a luckless round two at Lyng, but his speed and drive were proven a week later with 2nd overall in the MX Nationals at Foxhill, and the Northern Irishman is determined to carry it through to this weekend.
Harri Kullas hasn’t shown his full potential during the British series, but the Fin took himself to Valkenswaard for the MXGP last weekend where he took an impressive 15th and 16th. Now, filled with more confidence, Kullas is keen to make an impression on Sunday.
“We’re ready for the weekend. Graeme is hitting his form and has been putting in the bike time. He’s feeling as comfortable as he did at Foxhill, so we’re looking for a repeat performance at Canada Heights.
Harri’s RM-Z250 is working great, and he has proven his speed at the Valkenswaard GP. I’ll be happy if he can get out of the gate in the top 15 — he’ll have half the work to do, and we should be seeing top 10 finishes from him.” — Neil Prince, Team Manager
